An important foundational component to the research of G.P.Shchedrovitsky was his involvement as a leader in the practice of conducting multi-disciplinary seminars. The practice of multi-disciplinary seminars began in 1955 with the seminar devoted to the problems of logics and psychology of thinking. An effort was made to assemble the broadest possible group, which included physicists, psychologists, biologists, engineers, philosophers, sociologists, etc. Different specialists met quite regularly for several hours a week to address problems and their resolution from the different disciplinary perspectives represented in the seminar.
The Foundation proceeds this tradition with conducting seminars concerned on the history of MMC, practical philosophy and methodology of reasoning (twice a month).
